Curly Rock Rose. Cistus crispus is a compact, bushy evergreen shrub that produces bright magenta-pink flowers. It originates from Southwestern Europe and the western region of North Africa. It is a common sight on uncultivated slopes in the Algarve. It is valuable as a source of nectar for honey bees and other insects, flowering over many weeks in early summer. It also helps combat soil erosion and is adapted to cope with wildfires.
It typically grows to around 50 cm high, producing grey-green crinkly foliage. Leaves have 3 veins across their surface and are covered in fine hairs. The intense green of the leaf and the pleasant aroma that it emits and that becomes more intense with the rain, make it perfect for placing it in gardens.

By placing an order you are not obligated to purchase the plants online and you will not be asked for any payment at this stage.

Only when all the details of your order are agreed, will we send you an agreed Factura/Invoice and request payment from you.

Once an order is agreed we require a 50% payment to secure the plants. Plants in the shopping basket are not reserved until an order is placed.

Plants we have but they are still growing into their containers. These are offered for reservation and will be released once they are ready. An estimated date for their availability is given.
