An upright vigorous Jerusalem Sage, native to Morocco, forming a clump 75cm tall and wide. Soft grey green Sage like foliage, with pale pink flowers in spring, followed by attractive dry seed heads. It is drought tolerant and will grow well in poor limestone soils. Very cold and frost hardy as it grows in mountainous areas.
It is quite similar to the native Phlomis purpurea, but it makes a denser bush. The flowers are slightly different with a softer pink lower lip and white top, changing colour as they develop. They will grow in sun or shade and on all well drained soil types. Cut back in late autumn or early winter, almost to the ground, every few years to refresh the growth. They will flower again in spring.

Once an order is agreed we require a 50% payment to secure the plants. Plants in the shopping basket are not reserved until an order is placed.
